Pepsi, a well-known beverage manufacturer, has announced the launch of its first NFT collection.
Last Thursday, 1,893 NFT developed on the Ethereum network were released under the name “Pepsi Mic Drops.”

The company appears to be aiming to create a full-fledged community with NFTs, which include classic, diet, and sugar-free options.
Pepsi-Cola, as you may know, is a beverage initiative created by Caleb Bradham in 1893. Pepsi was originally known as “Brad’s Drink.” Along with Coca-Cola, the company has grown in popularity since those days and is now one of the largest beverage companies.
Pepsi’s NFTs stand out as a reflection of the types of beverages the company has produced thus far. Each of the 1,893 NFTs manufactured refers to a Pepsi product.
A company called VayverNFT contributes to Pepsi’s NFT collection.
Pepsi’s vice president, Todd Kaplan made the following statement about the subject:
“Pepsi has always been a brand with a strong heritage in music and pop culture, so it’s only fitting for us to bring that legacy into the new world of NFT with a ‘mic drop’ of epic proportions.”
Pepsi Follows Other Companies!
Pepsi has entered the NFT field by following Budweiser, Coca-Cola and many other beverage brands. For example, in the last few weeks, Budweiser, a well-known beer brand, released 1,936 NFT to commemorate its birthday.
