Tim Cook announced that Apple is not working on integrating crypto money into Apple Pay at The New York Times DealBook conference on November 23, 2021. Yet, he hinted that the company is investigating cryptocurrencies.
He recently stated that he has personally invested in cryptocurrencies. However, he added that the Apple company is not included in these investments.
It seems that Apple is not yet considering accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method for the sale of its products. Apple was criticized by some industry figures for being late in accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method.
In response to questions about Metaverse, Tim Cook stated that augmented reality modules are a critical technology component for Apple. Allegedly, Apple is said to be working on a mixed reality headset that will be unveiled soon.
