Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has joined the non-fungible token (NFT) craze that has been on the agenda of the crypto community. The famous CEO stepped into the NFT community by presenting a techno track on Twitter.
Sharing a techno song and video on Twitter, Musk said, “I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT.” Digital artist Mike Winkelmann (Beeple) quoted the tweet and offered the billionaire the $ 69 million he recently received for his NFT collage, which went on sale at an auction last week. However, Musk said he only wanted to accept Dogecoin (DOGE) and set the price at 420 million tokens (about $ 15.2 million at the current price). But Musk didn’t share a link for sale, so it’s unclear which platform to use for the sale.
The song’s lyrics in question briefly explain the concept of digital ownership (accompanied by a spinning mug with the acronym “HODL”): NFT for your show, computers never sleep, are verified, guaranteed. “Hodl” is a common term among the crypto community and means that someone holds Bitcoin or other crypto assets.
