Muhammed Ali will be remembered with the NFT collection

Heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali stands over Sonny Liston and taunts him to get up during their title fight. Ali knocked Liston out in one minute in the first round during their bout at the Central Maine Youth Center in Lewiston, Maine.

Considered the best boxer of all time, Mohammed Ali will be remembered with the NFT collection in honor of the 50th anniversary of his unforgettable title match, called “The Battle of the Century”, where he faced Joe Frazier. Ali had lost this fight to Frazier on March 8, 1971, and the fight was recorded as the first defeat in the legendary boxer’s career. Later, Ali won his struggles with Frazier in 1974 and 1975.

The NFT collection was created in partnership between the Ethernity Chain and Muhammad Ali Center, a museum dedicated to Ali’s life and career. The collection will include famous photographs of Ali and Frazier taken in 1971 by Sports Illustrated photographer Neil Leifer. Ethernity calls the collection “the first historically significant NFT” in its description. NFTs will be put up for sale at the end of March and some of the revenue will be given to Ali Center
